euroFORTH '98

Internationalisation

euroFORTH was hosted for the second time by the International Meeting and Research Centre for Informatics Schloss Dagstuhl. Those who participated in 1995 learned to appreciate the professional and marvellous venue. The conference is held in cooperation with the German Gesellschaft für Informatik.

I am pleased to express special thanks to all who helped this this conference to be achieved, especially the responsables at the University of Saarland in Saarbrücken and the wonderful team of Dagstuhl Castle.

The focus of this years conference is the Internationalisation of Programming. And I would like to express my special thanks to Peter Knaggs who organised and managed the Internationalisation Workshop with his well-known enthusiasm.
